 Latest update about the Archbishop of Canterbury’s visit

Much more information has been added to the Centenary website regarding the 4-day visit of the Archbishop of Canterbury in May (see the link below).

The main event is the Centenary Festival on Saturday 5 May. An A3 and an A4 poster is attached. Full details (including advice about parking) can be found on the centenary website.

There are also two evangelistic events:
– ‘Coming home with the Archbishop’ on 3 May;
– ‘Ask the Archbishop’ on 4 May.

All three events are free, and are suitable for people who don’t usually come to church. Please invite your friends.

 The Archbishop of Canterbury at the Belgrade Theatre

During the visit of the Archbishop of Canterbury in May, we have previously announced the three main events which are open to the general public (click the link below).

In addition, we are now pleased to announce a more intimate event with Archbishop Justin on the B stage of the Belgrade Theatre on Wednesday 2 May. He will be in conversation with leading representatives and performing artists from Coventry’s rich cultural scene in an event entitled ‘Building Bridges’.

 Eco Church and Cherishing Churchyards – 18 April

The Diocesan Environment Group invite you to join them at Holy Trinity Hartshill on Wednesday 18 April from 7:15pm to 9:15pm to hear Vicky Gilbert of St Catherine’s Burbage tell the story of her church’s progress to Eco Church Gold Award.

This will be followed by other speakers with Eco Church stories, a report on Cherishing Churchyards 2017 and an invitation to your church to run an event in the June 2018 Cherishing Churchyards month.
