 Initial Healing Training Course – Lawrence Saunders Church

On the evening of Thursday 8 March and all day Saturday 17 March, The Well is running a Healing Training Course at Lawrence Saunders Baptist Church in Coventry, CV6 1HH. The sessions will be led by Revd Anne Hibbert, Director of Ministry at The Well, and members of her Team.

There will be a mixture of Bible teaching and hands-on practice, making the course perfect for church leaders who want to spearhead a healing ministry in their church, or those already on a prayer team who want encouragement and further training.

 Still Bearing Fruits in Your Old Age

Still Bearing Fruits in Your Old Age considers how God uses elderly people precisely because they are old.

This ecumenical day will be led by Chris Swift, Anglican priest and Director of Chaplaincy for Methodist Homes for the Aged and Bishop David McGough of Dementia Prayer Week. It will include news of innovative projects like ‘Memory Worship’ and a radio programme in Stratford for those living with dementia.

It takes place at Coventry Methodist Central Hall on 22 March from 10am to 4pm and costs £5.

 “Moving On” training evening – 3 May

Led by CPAS patronage secretary, John Fisher, this forum-style event will offer insight into the tricky subject of moving jobs. It will provide some biblical framework to the discernment process and how to make good choices. It will also look at the practicalities of completing good applications and handling interviews well.

This training course, starting in September 2018, prepares participants to become prayer guides and spiritual directors.

It is delivered over 30 weeks on Wednesday evenings and with four Saturday workshops.

 Quiet Day, All Saints, Emscote – 3 March

The Blue, the Dim and the Gold – finding calm and meaning in turbulent times.

Using Jake Lever’s inspiring installation, The Blue, the Dim and the Gold, the day will offer the opportunity to explore our experience of navigating the turbulent times in our lives.

A simple lunch of soup, bread and cheese will be provided and a donation of £5 (unwaged) or £10 (waged) is invited to cover expenses.
