 Prayer Diary – November 2017

The November Prayer Diary focuses on Shipston deanery.

Please find attached two versions of the Prayer Diary. The consecutive format is recommended for displaying on a computer screen, or printing for home use; the booklet format is recommended for printing a double-sided booklet.

You can also download the Prayer Diary from the diocesan website. We aim to publish it on or before the 20th day of the preceding month (although it is sometimes delayed).

 News Story – Rising numbers in ordination training

The Church of England recently released figures showing that the numbers of people entering into training for ordained ministry is at a record high. The figures have been released as the Church of England steps up efforts to increase the number of candidates for ordination by 50% by 2020 as part of the Renewal and Reform programme.

 News Story – Peace Festival at St John the Baptist

The beautiful medieval church of St John the Baptist in Fleet Street, Coventry will be celebrating sixteen days of peace and reconciliation through events and services from October 30th until November 14th as part of their contribution to the Coventry Peace Festival 2017.
