|Claire Strachan 28/09/17 HE Telecomms|| Guidance Note – Telecommunications Equipment in Churches
Over the last few years the Church Buildings team have seen an increase in the number of PCCs considering installing transmitters and communication equipment in their churches after being approached by telecommunications companies. A number of churches in the Diocese have had successful installations but there can be implications for your church building. Historic England have recently produced a new guidance note on this subject to help and support churches who are considering this sort of installation. Please contact the Church Buildings Team if you would like to discuss this further.
|Anna Laycock 25/09/17|| Parsonages Committee Vacancies
The Parsonages Committee currently has a vacancy for 1 Clergy and 3 Lay persons.
The committee is looking for people who believe that people are more important than buildings. As resources are never limitless, the committee needs someone that can help them prioritise housing improvements that will be a real blessing to clergy and their families. The committee particularly seeks people who have relevant experience with housing or building matters.
To discuss further please contact the Senior Property Manager (Nicky.firstname.lastname@example.org) or the Chair of the Parsonages Committee, Ian Francis (Ian2140@btinternet.com).
