|Anna Laycock 26/05/17|| Ignatian Spiritual Exercises: enquire now for Autumn 2017
A school of prayer, a methodology for discernment: the full Spiritual Exercises involve an extended commitment to prayer in which the pilgrim explores God’s loving creativity; human brokenness; and the life, death and resurrection of Jesus as an invitation to a deepening of relationship with him.
The Exercises are done in the context of daily life – action and contemplation in tandem – with regular meetings with a guide. This thirty week (19th Annotation) format of the Ignatian Exercises is being offered in Warwickshire again starting in the Autumn. Expressions of interest: email@example.com
|Anna Laycock 26/05/17|| Meet Linda Ngamlana from Amasango School – 15 June
On Thursday 15th June at 7.30pm join us at St Peter’s Wellesbourne for a thoroughly inspiring and uplifting evening with Linda Ngamlana, Principal of Amasango School for street children in South Africa.
St Peter’s really benefits from our links with Amasango, and we would love more people to know about this deeply Christian work, and maybe for other churches in Fosse Deanery to get involved themselves. Come and find out more over a glass of wine and some nibbles. If you can’t make this, Linda will also speak at 7pm on 22nd June at St Michael’s House.

Any church looking to form real links with Christian ministry in another culture should meet Linda. 11th June is Open Farm Sunday when many farms are open to the public. This is a wonderful opportunity to both celebrate God’s creation, and learn more about where our food comes from and how it is produced.
There are many farms open in Warwickshire and adjoining counties who will welcome all visitors young or old.
Details of farms open can be found at http://farmsunday.org or from Barbara Clutton, firstname.lastname@example.org

|Anna Laycock 26/05/17 Flyer|| Mental Health and Faith at St Mary Magdalen – 10 June
It is estimated that 1 in 4 people live with mental health issues. This means that within our churches and communities we have a significant number of people for whom this is a concern – for our congregations and our clergy.
You are invited to attend a Mental Health and Faith Session from 10.00-13.00 on Saturday 10 June at St Mary Magdalen Church (‘The Church with the Blue Roof’).
The Rev’d Alison Hogger-Gadsby, Director of Keeping Health in Mind, will discuss what it is to be mentally healthy/unwell, common issues, dementia, a theological perspective, what to do in a crisis and then hold a Q&A. All are welcome!

|Graeme Pringle 21/05/17|| Offa House sold subject to contract
In December 2016 the Bishop of Coventry announced that, with a heavy heart, the decision had been taken to sell Offa House. He also promised to keep people informed of any significant developments.
We can now announce that the House has been sold, subject to contract, to a family who would like to use it as a family home.
Nothing further can be said at this stage because, as with the sale of any property, much can happen between the acceptance of an offer and the exchange of contracts.
