Prayer for Christian Service takes place on Monday 6 March from 4pm till 5pm in the Chapel of Unity, Coventry Cathedral.
Ian Burton ,Centre Manager, will speak about the work of Coventry Christians Against Poverty (CAP). “Passionate about releasing people in our nation from a life sentence of debt, poverty, unemployment and addiction. Working with the church we bring good news, hope and freedom to people in the UK”.

If you are struggling with food, or know someone who is then tastelifeuk invites you to their next 8 session course with teaching, discussion, stories of recovery and tools for life.
All eating disorders included; self-referral welcome; open to those of all faiths or none (based on Christian values and accredited by the University of Brighton Health Sciences). It will be held in the Kenilworth area. Courses begin on Monday 27 February, then weekly for 8 evenings (spread past Bank Holidays).

The Archbishops of Canterbury and York are calling Christians to join them in a global time of prayer between Ascension and Pentecost, 25th May – 4th June this year. They are asking us all to pray ‘Come, Holy Spirit’, that we may be empowered as witnesses to Jesus Christ; that God’s kingdom may come in our lives, in this nation and beyond.

Coventry Cathedral has announced that it will be launching a new missionary project this autumn. The vision is for a pioneering community that offers a home to the spiritually lost and seeking, to those who have wandered away from God, to those who have never known God and to those who have lost their faith in the church.

Barbara Clutton, Diocesan Rural Officer, says “I would encourage all who have an interest in rural issues and the possible effects of Brexit to book for a day conference exploring the issues of Brexit and likely effects on rural communities, churches, agriculture and the environment”.
It will take place on Thursday 30 March from 10am till 4pm at The Arthur Rank Centre, Stoneleigh Park, CV8 2LG at a cost of £25 including all refreshments.
