Ryan Finnegan 24/11/16  Prayer for Christian Service

On Monday 5 December from 4pm till 5pm there will be a prayer for Christian service in the Chapel of Unity in Coventry Cathedral.

Ryan Finnegan 24/11/16 Flyer  Let Yourselves be Transformed – Quiet Day

‘Let Yourselves be Transformed’ is a Quiet day, led by Bishop John, the Bishop of Warwick, at St Margaret’s Church, Wolston. It is open to all, lay or ordained.

It will take place on 6 December from 10am till 4pm. The cost is £20 per person which includes drinks but please bring your own packed lunch.

Life in the city and the countryside can often seem very separate, with rural and urban ministry presenting different challenges. Elisabeth Ashworth writes about how her church, St Thomas A Becket in Sutton-under-Brailes has established a link with Coventry church, St. Catherine’s, Stoke Aldermoor to bridge the divide between ministry in the city and the countryside.

Anna Laycock 21/11/16 Flyer  Deep Church Session, Berkswell – 28 November

A Deep Church Missional Spirituality event will take place at St John Baptist Church in Berkswell on Monday 28th November at 7.30pm.

‘Deep Church’ aims to provide opportunities to explore aspects of the classical and contemporary Christian tradition in greater depth than is possible in the context of an ordinary Sunday.

The Revd Tim Mitchell will be speaking on the subject of ‘Missional Spirituality’ at the event. He will look at how we address the growing numbers of people seeking spirituality away from the church.

Anna Laycock 21/11/16 Flyer  Sunday Night Live – 27 November

Sunday Night Live is a new venture launching in Costa Coffee, The Parade, Leamington Spa on the 27th November.

It is a Live Music event with a twist of faith. There will be two live music acts and two people that will take a few minutes to share their journey of faith. The event will take place from 7.30-9pm and is being organised by St Mary’s Church, Leamington Spa.
