Will Jones 23/09/16  Churchyard Trees Conference

The Church of England has some 10,000 churchyards. The often great age of churchyards, and the long term protection they offer to the trees within them, means many of these trees are particularly important, and others have the potential to become so.

To support this vital resource, The Conservation Foundation is holding two free Churchyard Tree Conferences in late 2016 with the Church of England – in Liverpool on 6 October and London on 2 November.

The conferences are aimed at churchwardens, diocesan officers, and groups involved in the care of churchyards.
