All are invited to 2 nights with Mike Pilavachi with Tom Smith and his band. This event will take place in a mega marquee in Broadgate on 13 and 14 May.
On Friday 13 May at 7:30pm there is a Youth Event for people aged 11-19 years which costs £3. People of all ages are welcome to the event on 14 May which costs £5.

This conference will take place at Methodist Central Hall, Coventry, CV1 2HA on Saturday 14 May and is for people from all Christian traditions. There will be tea and coffee upon arrival at 10am and the conference will finish no later than 3:30pm. The cost of this conference is £5 which includes a light lunch.

‘In Review’ is a monthly tabloid newspaper published by the National Church Institutions of the Church of England.
It aims to keep you in touch with the activities of the Archbishops’ Council, Church Commissioners, the Church of England Pensions Board and other bodies who serve the Church at national level. Please do print it off and post it on your church’s noticeboard.
‘In Focus’ is a monthly insert designed for parish magazines with the best of the material which appears in the full newspaper.

Life at work can be challenging for us especially as Christians. This evening will give you a flavour of how you can live the difference Jesus makes in your workplace including ideas and stories of how you can transform your workplace.
Ruth Walker of LICC (London Institute of Contemporary Christianity) will speak and introduce ‘Transforming Work’. It takes place on Tuesday 28 June at 7:15pm at St James, Styvechale CV3 5BT.

|Anna Laycock 28/04/16|| News Story – Young women explore Christian vocations
On Saturday 23rd April a conference held at the Cathedral entitled Young Women: Your Call gave young women the chance to explore Christian vocations. The event, organised by Diocesan Vocations Adviser, the Rev’d Ellie Clack, was held in response to current low numbers of women under the age of 30 being recommended for training for ordination.

In a fourth short video message (just 4 minutes) Bishop Christopher talks about the Pentecost Sunday Celebration.
Bishop Christopher invites you to celebrate Pentecost at the Archbishops’ Beacon Event at Coventry Cathedral on Sunday 15th May. Refreshments and bring-and-share-cakes from 4pm in the ruins.
NO TICKETS ARE NEEDED if you live in the Diocese of Coventry.
The service of prayer and praise, with baptisms and confirmations, begins at 5pm with a live-link to Archbishop Justin.

|Graeme Pringle 23/04/16|| News Story – Bishop writes to PM and President Obama
Bishop Christopher is among 28 UK and US faith leaders who have written an open letter to the Prime Minister and President Obama. The letter urges them to address the catastrophic humanitarian crisis in Syria, and to use the ‘special relationship’ relationship between our two countries as a global force for good.

|Ryan Finnegan 15/04/16 Poster|| REMINDER – Germinate Leadership Lecture 2016
The Reverend Dr Michael Volland will give the lecture ‘The relevance of entrepreneurship to rural church leadership’. He is currently Director of Context-based Training at Ridley Hall Cambridge and the author of ‘The Minister as Entrepreneur: leading and growing the church in an age of rapid change’.
The Lecture will be followed by presentation of awards to the current graduates of the Germinate Leadership Programme and hearing stories on how it has made a difference to their ministry.
It takes place at The Arthur Rank Centre, Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire on 17 May at 10:30am. For more information please see the attached poster.
