Our red Madaz MX5 sport car belonging to Simon and Diane Kareen at St Hughes Cottage, Middle Lane Shotteswell, has sustained substantial impact damage to the front right front panel ( driver’s side) below the car lights on or around Wednesday 12.04.16 whilst parked on College Barn shared drive. The person responsible has not left their name or contact detailswhich is a criminal offence. The impact damage is consistent with a person reversing their own vehicle into our car.
Our neighbours at Pembroke House( Sharon and Kevin) were away at the time, as well myself ( Diane-Kareen) working in Manchester and Simon was working away. Our other neighbours at Braenose Barn ( Kris and Debbie) can not assist when asked as Kris has responded by stating he can not provide any information about this incident and is not in a position to assist us.
No one has come forward to take responsibility for the considerable damage. Therefore I am appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
We have also contacted the post office and delivery service who delivered a package to our house on that day to investigate this matter and eliminate them from potential individuals who may have inadvertantly caused the damage.
I am bringing this matter to the attention of the village and the neighbourhood watch coordinator for Middle Lane because criminal damage to our car has occurred whilst parked on our private property and I encourage the village to be vigilant to ensure this does not become an unpleasant trend.
