|Claire Strachan 02/02/16|| Queen’s 90th Birthday celebrations
The Queen’s birthday, being officially celebrated from 10-12 June 2016 is a great opportunity to encourage celebrations in churches. ChurchCare is taking a leading role in coordinating and encouraging activities and has set up a page on ChurchCare (see website address below). This will be populated with links as more events are planned. There is also a celebrations map, showing where events are around the country. If you are holding an event, please contact Churchcare so that it can be promoted on the Churchcare website.

The CBC conservation grant programme is able to support conservation of most types of historic furnishings in churches. These grants will not usually cover the full cost of works but they are a valuable indicator that the proposed work is appropriate for funding and can be used to match grants from other funders, including the roof repair fund. Please visit the website and click on the relevant type of project for the deadline dates so you don’t miss out!
