Wellesbourne Safer Neighbourhood Team Report 47 – 16.01.16

This report from the Wellesbourne Safer Neighbourhood Team covers the wards of Snitterfield, Wellesbourne, Kineton and Burton Dassett.

The following incidents, for the period between 02.01.16 and 16.01.16 have been reported and the team are appealing for witnesses:

Snitterfield Area

Snitterfield -Duttons Close

Vehicle crime – 11/01/16 – 097

Between 2200hrs 10/01 and 0730hrs 11/01.

Forced entry via rear door to a white Ford Transit van and tools stolen.

Wellesbourne Area

Wellesbourne – Bristol Way

Suspicious Circumstances – 12/01/16 – 171

Around 0000hrs, informant woken by noise. A male was standing in the road and a flatbed truck collected him and drove off at speed. The lock on a side gate to the property appeared to have been interfered with. There was no damage and nothing stolen.

Kineton Area

Lighthorne

Suspicious circumstances – 05/0/16 – 250

Eight gates of a field that contains horses have been found open and securing string cut.

Kineton – Southam Street

Burglary – 05/01/16 – 139

Between 1900hrs – 2300hrs 04/01

Doors to the garage, separate from the house, were open. Muddy footprints in the property. Nothing reported as stolen and means of entry uncertain, but may have been with a key.
