Wellesbourne Safer Neighbourhood Team Report 38 – 11.10.15

This report from the Wellesbourne Safer Neighbourhood Team covers the wards of Snitterfield, Wellesbourne, Kineton and Burton Dassett.


The following incidents, for the period between 25.09.15 to 11.10.15, have been reported and the team are appealing for witnesses:

Three signs damaged by air rifle


Hatton Rock

Fire/Arson – 01.10.15/223

Remote location not accessible by car, only boat or by foot. An empty rabbit hutch was moved and used for a bonfire.


Black Hill

Burglary – 25.09.15/266

Male, early 20s, white T-shirt, short hair, slim build 5’5” entered through front door which had been left ajar and stole a Louis Vuitton handbag containing a Louis Vuitton purse, £100 in cash and credit cards. He left by the same door and was seen running up the driveway.


Wellesbourne Ward


Wellesbourne – St Peter’s Road

Theft – 11.10.15/010

Report that overnight a Yamaha 125 motorbike was tampered with causing damage to the disc lock.


Theft of wheelie bins

There have been reports of wheelie bins being stolen in Wellesbourne, Newbold Road and Chestnut Square and in Ratley.
