|Ryan Finnegan 10/09/15|| Commemorating the 75th Anniversary of the Coventry Bombing
Among other events taking place in the city centre to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the bombing of Coventry, the Cathedral will be hosting a Civic Service of Commemoration at 7pm on Sunday 15 November. Everyone is welcome.

A service to commemorate the faithful departed will take place at Coventry Cathedral at 4pm on Sunday 1 November. The Romsey Singers will sing Herbert Howells’ Requiem. Everyone is welcome.
|Ryan Finnegan 10/09/15|| Service for The High Sheriff of Warwickshire – 5 Oct
Everyone is welcome to join the High Sheriff of Warwickshire, Janet Bell Smith, for her service to mark the start of the Legal Year. It will take place at Coventry Cathedral on Monday 5 October at 11am. If you plan on attending please aim to be seated by 10:50am. There will be light refreshments served afterwards.
The High Sheriff is the Queen’s representative in the County for all matters legal and in October, at the start of the legal year, a church service is traditionally held to celebrate and remember the work done by all those who serve our legal system throughout the County.

Opera Loki will return to St. Nicholas on 17 October with a performance of Puccini’s ‘La Bohème’ sung in English.
Tickets will be £25 with concessions of £20 and are available from the parish office and Royal Spa Centre box office at Leamington Town Hall. You can also purchase tickets through the box office website using the link below.

This Quiet Day for exploring creative prayer will be led by local artist, Rosa Wain. The theme is: Encouragement! A wonderful gift!
No experience is needed and all materials will be provided. The cost of the day is £10. Tea and coffee will be available, but please bring a packed lunch and a Bible.

|Graeme Pringle 06/09/15|| Service celebrating reign of HM Queen Elizabeth II – 9 Sep
On Wednesday 9 September 2015, HM Queen Elizabeth II becomes Britain’s longest-reigning Monarch.
This landmark is being celebrated in the Cathedral with Choral Evensong that day at 5.15 pm. Bishop Christopher is preaching.

As part of the Reconciling a Wounded Planet Conference, Riding Lights are performing a specially commissioned environmental play. This will take place at Coventry Cathedral on Friday 18 September at 7:30pm.
